Anil Harjani, TraknProtect Business Development Advisor

Anil is the Business Development Advisor to TraknProtect for its IoT platform’s and safety button’s market penetration in the hospitality market. But when he’s not advising TraknProtect, Anil is the VP of Corporate Development at Hireology, a growth stage recruitment marketing technology company. And at Hireology, Anil is focused on building strategic partnerships across various industry sectors including hospitality.

Prior to Hireology, Anil was the VP of Product & Strategic Partnerships at Outcome Health. And during his time there, Anil facilitated business growth by developing and implementing enterprise strategy, product innovation and marketing.

Anil met Parminder and TraknProtect as VP of Global Innovation at Hyatt Hotels Corp. In that role, he developed a portfolio of innovation initiatives, including establishing commercial partnerships with start-ups, strategic investments, and go-to-market strategy of new ventures. And as a Director within Corporate Finance at Hyatt, he focused on delivering strategic risk, control, and process expertise globally. These included assessments against regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company policy and procedures.

He continues to be an advisor and mentor to early stage businesses in the Chicago tech community and is a former Fellow of World Business Chicago volunteering his time and experience to help develop startups at different stages in various verticals.

As Business Development Advisor to TraknProtect, Anil guides and facilitates the company’s hospitality business development and growth strategy as the company continues to grow and remain a market leader as an Internet of Things platform and safety buttons in hotels. And given his background in innovation, he continues to utilize his diverse background and industry experience to support TraknProtect’s exploration of new verticals.

Anil received a BA in Management of Information Systems at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Economics.
